Our Goals
Our goals are to support the Sickle Cell governing national body through fundraising and partnerships that will increase awareness and connect all the Sickle Cell eco-systems in collaboration to make the lives of people living with the disease more empowered through new researches of drugs, added life style approaches that will encourage independence in their home, work and community.
Our Mission
To establish a foundation that will collaborate a compressive clinical approach for individual and families affected by sickle cell disease.
Our Objective
The objective is to continue working with the medical community, health & wellness service providers, organizations, institutions and other community stake holders that has access to the community and is serving the public.

Advocacy on Parliament Hill 2013
November 1st, 2013, OTTAWA — The Sickle Cell Disease
Canada/L’Association D’Anémie Falciforme Du Canada successfully
completed its first national advocacy event dubbed “Awareness on the Hill”
on October 29, 2013. Led by the president/CEO of the organization, Ms.
Lanre Tunji-Ajayi, delegates from the SCDAC assembled on Parliament Hill in
Ottawa, Ontario for a series of meetings with Members of Parliament from
across the country.

Sickle Cell Association of Ontario
We are a volunteer based non-profit charitable organization run by volunteers since 1981. We provide support, counselling and education workshops, seminars and annual conferences to increase public awareness. Our main goal is to help and work with individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease, to enhance the quality of life of patients.
